Please discuss any assurces PacifiCorp can provide that all BOT projects will
provide generation amounts on an ongoing basis that is consistent with the
assumptions made in the selection process for each resource.
Response to IPUc Production Data Request 111
The Company has acquired build own transfer (BOT) and power purchase
agreement (PP A) wind resources via the renewable request for proposal (RFP)
process. The Company has thus far been unble to receive contractual assurances
associated with BOT generation levels. With respect to PP A generation levels,
the Company has been able to negotiate varing levels of contractu assurances
associated with mechanical availabilty based daage mechansms as well as
other negotiated contrctua assurances that var by agreement.
