Jurisdictional loads are adjusted on page 10.13 in order to properly reflect the impact of special contracts and demand side management programs consistent with the Revised Protocol allocation methodology. Treatment of special contract loads is prescribed in Appendix D of the Revised Protocol. Demand side management programs are defined as State Resources according to the Revised Protocol, and the reduced consumption resulting from such programs is to be reflected in the load based allocation factors. Response to Monsanto Data Request 7.3 The Jursdictional coincident peaks on page 10.13 of Steve McDougal's testimony are for the test period ending December 31, 2010. These show the projected monthly system peaks for 2010. The sum of the class CP loads (noted as State of Idaho) on tab 5, page 6 of Craig Paice's exhibit are based on 2009 load research data, ratioed up or down to reflect test year 2010 monthly energy levels. This is tre for all schedules except Contract 1 and Schedule 10 customers. Both the Contract 1 and Schedule 10 customer estimates have been normalized over a period of years, based on the historical load research data, before adjustment to test year 2010 monthly energy levels. The cost in $/kW for the turbine upgrade project. b. The economic analysis upon which the Company relied to proceed with the tubine upgrade project. Include all work papers in Excel format with formulas intact. c. A copy of the Company's expenditue requisition and project approval documents for the turbine upgrade project. d. All references (with page numbers) to the turbine upgrade project in the Company's most recent Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). If the turbine upgrade project was not included in the Company's most recent IRP, please explain why not. Response to Monsanto Data Request 7.4 a. The installed costs in $/kw for the Turbine Upgrades are as follows: Hunter 1 Huntington 1 Jim Bridger 1 $1,988 $1,725 $1,583 The $/kw shown above for th~ HIr Bridger 1 Turbine Upgrade is based on the original approval docÚIept, wliich included the high pressure, intermediate pressure, and low pressure (HP/IPlLP) components as a single project. Subsequent to the original approval, the LP portion of the project was deferred to 2018. b. Please refer to Attachments Monsanto 7.4b -1, Monsanto 7.4b -2, and Monsanto 7.4b -3. The information provided in these attachments is the non-confdential portion of tlte aIalysis. Other information to which the formulas may refer is infornåtionthat the Company considers proprietary and highly confidentiaL. Please include in the response the annual natual gas prices for the period 2010-2030 used for both the October 2008 and September 2009 plot lines shown in Figure 4.1.
