IPUC Production Data Request 12
Please provide detail of all advertising expenses recorded above the line including
account and subaccount where posted, dates posted, vendor names, explanations,
and amounts posted during 2009. Please identify each expense that is related to
safety.
Response to IPUC Production Data Request 12
Please refer to Attchment IPUC 12. Safety is one of the Company's key
communications messages and is integrated into the Company's customer
awareness advertising, newsletters and support materials. Approximately 30% of
the Company's advertising messages are safety focused -- downed power lines,
underground lines, and overhead lines. Because safety is one of several messages
covered by the Company's advertising budget, the Company cannot identify
specific costs related to safety advertising. However, specific safety
communications pieces have been indentified via color coding in Attachment
IPUC 12.
