Please also provide the anual quatifiable results of those measures. Response to IPUc Production Data Request 34 During 2009 and 2010, the Company implemented cost-cutting measures designed to partially offset the adverse financial impacts of recession-related reduced retail loads and lower wholesale market prices. These initiatives were not generally intended to be long~term in natue. Examples include delaying or cancellng hiring for vacant positions, minimizing overtime, training, travel and outside consulting costs wherever possible. In addition, measures were identified to minimize thermal plant downtime and enhance availabilty wherever possible, and the construction of the McFadden Ridge and Dunlap wind plants was completed a month earlier than planed. Automation initiatives were also pursued where prudent: Rocky Mountain Power continued to expand the implementation of automatic meter reading investments in Utah and Wyoming.
