period November 16, 2006 to the most recent month available by plant.

Please refer to Confdential Attchment Monsanto 2.55 for the Company's
contingency reserve requirements. Ths inormation is confdential and is
provided subject to the term and conditions of the protective agreement in ths
proceeding.
Spinng and non-spinng reserves are each 50% of the contigency reserves.
Please note tht the reserve requiements are not calculated on a "by plant" basis,
but rather they are calculated on a "by balancing area" basis. For that reason, the
attchment separates the requiements into PacifiCorp West and PacifiCorp East.
The Company does not record an hourly reguatig margin requiement.

Please provide a sumar of all assumptions used in the Company's REC sales
calculation, a copy of the calculation including all supportg workpapers.
Response to Monsanto Data Request 2.57
The REC sales calculation for the test period begins with the tota available
megawatt hours (MWH from wind generation in GRI, less the amounts baned
for renewable portolio stadad (RPS) compliance in Californa and Oregon.
(The Company does not sell RECs allocable to Californa and Oregon tht meet
the criteria set fort in the state's respective RPS. Intead, the Company uses the
renewable output to comply with curent year or futue year RPS requiments.)
The Company then assumes that 75% of net MWH available amount durg the
test period (afer RPS bang) is available for sale. Sales from contracts that
were known prior to the filing of the case are accounted for, and any additiona
RECs available in the test period (afer RPS banng and known contractul sales)
are assumed to be sold for $5.00 per MWH.
Please refer to the Company's response to Monsanto Data Request 1.5 for a
workig Excel spreadsheet of Adjustment 3.6 with formulas intact.

Response to Monsanto Data Request 2.68
Please refer to the Company's response to Monsanto Data Request 2.56, which
provided the reserves held, or capable of holding, by the generating unts on
hourly basis. The Company does not distinguish the reserves held for varous
tyes of resources.
