Further to the Company's response to lIP A Data Request 11 dated April 13, 2009.
Attachment lIP A 11 c is not comparable to Attachment Monsanto 1.16 because the
former is an extract of hourly operational data of all transactions delivered out of
the Company's system, including deliveries and returs of exchange contracts
included in the Purchased Power & Net Interchange category in Attachment
Monsanto 1.16.
In addition, Attachment lIP A 11 c excludes adjustments for bookout transactions.
It also excludes fixed payments and adjustments for transactions outside the 12-
month period, all of which are incorporated in Attachment Monsanto 1.16.
Bookout transactions either do not result in physical deliveries or, alternatively,
consist of deliveries which net to zero. For such transactions, only net revenue or
expenses are recorded as sales revenue or purchase expenses for reporting
puroses.
Please refer to Attachment lIP A 11 1 st Supplemental for updated information.
The Company system that maintains hourly data does not associate transactions
with specific FERC categories, such as sales, purchases or exchanges. Thus,
Attachment lIP A 11 1 st Supplemental does not provide transactions by FERC
categories. Delivered energy with non-zero prices is used to approximate sales
transactions. Booked out transactions on the delivery side are also excluded from
the attachment. Although the data is stil not comparable to Attachment
Monsanto i .16, because of the issues listed above, the results are much closer.
