Regarding the $2,048,020 DSM amortization expense removal on page 4.17 of
Company Exhibit 12, what are the programs or portions of programs that make up
this expense?
Response to lIP A Data Request 34
DSM costs in Idaho are generally recovered through the system benefit charge
(SBC) tariff rider, schedule 191.' Idaho DSM amortization during the test year has
been removed from revenue requirement to prevent double recovery of these
costs. DSM programs covered by this rider have been approved by the Idaho
Public Utilty Commission and include the following list of programs:
. Irrigation Load Control (administrative costs only; customer incentives are
recovered in base rates)
. Irrigation Energy Savers
. Low Income Weatherization
. Home Energy Savings Incentive
. FinAnswer Express
. Northwest Energy Effciency Alliance
