IPUC Staff Production 1st Set Data Request 1.1 Does Fall River plan on adding service staff in order to respond to an increase in service calls that will result from the transfer of 150 customers to its existing workload? If not, how does Fall River plan to absorb these additional customers and improve the response time for service calls to the RMP transferred customers? Response to IPUC Staff Production 1 sl Set Data Request 1.1 Rocky Mountain Power is informed and believes that Fall River has added as of April 2007 one 4 person crew in its Driggs office, which will be sufficient to cover all maintenance, outage, and new construction for the new customers. IPUC Staff Production 1 st Set Data Request 1.2 Please provide a copy of the Fall River rate structure under which the RMP transferred customer will be served following the five-year period. Response to IPUC Staff Production 1 sl Set Data Request 1.2 Copies of the tariff sheets that Rocky Mountain Power received from Fall River for each of the rate classes for the customers that are being transferred to Fall River are provided as Attachment IPUC Staff 1.2 on the enclosed CD. IPUC Staff Production 1st Set Data Request 1.3 Does RMP or Fall River anticipate any increase in rates over the next five years? If so, how much are the increases and when will they be requested? Response to IPUC Staff Production 1st Set Data Request 1.3 Rocky Mountain Power is informed and believes that Fall River does not anticipate a rate increase in the next five years, but instead anticipates a rate decrease during that time period. Rocky Mountain Power has recently filed a general rate case requesting an $18. million rate increase. The outcome of the current case, along with changing costs will determine whether future increases are requested. (Fall River REA will sponsor its portion of this response at hearing. If not, does it offer anything similar? If not, are there any plans to develop a time-of-day rate for those RMP customers who depend on this rate? Response to IPUC Staff Production 1 st Set Data Request 1.4 Rocky Mountain Power is informed and believes that Fall River does not offer a time-of-day rate and does not offer anything similar to a time-of-day rate. Rocky Mountain Power is further informed and believes that after the five year period Fall River does not presently plan to implement a time-of-day rate.
