IPUC Production Data Request 25
IPUC Production Data Request 25
It is Staff s understanding that the load profile meters used to collect sampling
data for residential Schedules 1 and 36 were installed in 2001 and in 1999 for
irrigation Schedule 10. (a) Have there been additional load profile meters
installed for these classes since then? (b) Have the meters installed in 1999 and
2001 remained at one location, or does the Company rotate meters within the
respective customer class after a period of time? (c) Has the Company done any
studies to determine if its sampling size is adequate? Please explain your
answers.
1 st Supplemental Response to IPUC Production Data Request 25
(b) The Company is currently working to supplement the existing load profile
meters to sample data for residential Schedules 1 and 36. In addition to the 81
existing meters, the Company will install 24 new meters, 12 for each residential
schedule, by the end ofthis year. The population base these additional meters
will be drawn from will encompass all residential houses completed since
December 2001. Furthermore, the Company also plans to replace and rotate all
meters within the irrigation class during 2008 and the residential class in 2010.
