Response to IPUC Staff Production Data Request 3 Attachment IPUC Production 3 on the enclosed CD provides an analysis of the expected monthly payout assuming that payments received from BP A remain the same from October 2006 through 2011 , that customer usage data is unchanged from the test period data, and that credits to customers remain the same as the proposed credits shown in Attachment IPUC I , which include an incremental amount for drawing down the balancing account surplus. The analysis shows a surplus of approximately $3 million in the balancing account at the end of 2011. How many qualifying care facilities has the company identified that would receive benefits? Please provide the Company s analysis of the impact the proposed inclusion would have on the distribution of payments to all customers. Response to IPUC Staff Production Data Request 4 The requested infonnation is contained in revised Exhibits 1 and 2. In preparing this response, it was discovered that 28 MWh were inadvertently excluded from the analysis of long-term care facilities that will be moving from Schedule 23 to 23A. Revised copies of these Exhibits are included as Attachment IPUC Production 4 on the enclosed CD. This undercount results in an estimated $461 annually in additional BP A credits that will be paid to customers. In Attachment IPUC Production 4, revised Exhibit 1 , Line 6, titled Moving from to 6A shows the 10 long-tenn care facilities currently served on Schedule 6 that will move to 6A and begin receiving the BP A credit. Line 13 , titled Movingfrom 23 to 23A shows the 7 long-tenn care facilities currently served on Schedule 23 that will move to 23A and begin receiving the BP A credit. The number of customers is shown in column 4, and the amount of the proposedBPA credit is shown in Column 10. Revised Exhibit 2 shows the combined totals on line 13 titled Newly Eligible Customers. The Company estimates that these 17 customers will receive approximately $91 000 in annual benefits that would have otherwise been passed on to the remaining qualifying customers. The impact of this change on all other customers currently receiving the BP A credit is negligible.
