The Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, by and through its attorney of record
Cecelia A. Gassner, Deputy Attorney General, requests that PacifiCorp dba Rocky Mountain Power
(Company; Rocky Mountain) provide the following documents and information as soon as possible
but no later than MONDAY, JANUARY 29, 2007.
This Production Request is to be considered as continuing, and Idaho Power Company is
requested to provide, by way of supplementary responses, additional documents that it or any
person acting on its behalf may later obtain that will augment the documents produced.
For each item, please indicate the name of the person(s) preparing the answers, along with
the job title of such person(s) and the witness who can sponsor the answer at hearing.
FIRST PRODUCTION REQUEST TO
ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER JANUARY 19 2007
REQUEST NO.1: In Excel format, with formulas intact, please provide the monthly
estimate of residential exchange credits passed through to customers under current rates and those
proposed in this case. Please show benefits by customer class.
REQUEST NO.2: Please show monthly consumption levels and customer totals for the
period October 2003 through October 2006 that resulted in a deficit balance of approximately $6.
million (as of September 2004), followed by the current surplus balance of $7.2 million.
REQUEST NO.3: Please provide the Company s expected monthly payout for each
customer class to reconcile the surplus existing in the Idaho balancing account through the
2007-2011 Agreement.
REQUEST NO.4: The Company is proposing to include qualifying long-term care
facilities in its allocation ofREP benefits. How many qualifying care facilities has the company
identified that would receive benefits? Please provide the Company s analysis ofthe impact the
proposed inclusion would have on the distribution of payments to all customers.
