The Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission,by and through its attorney of record,
Chris Burdin,Deputy AttorneyGeneral,requests that Idaho Power Company ("Idaho Power"or
"Company")provide the followingdocuments and information as soon as possible,but no later
than,MONDAY,AUGUST 28,2023.
This Production Request is to be considered as continuing,and Idaho Power Company is
requested to provide,by way of supplementaryresponses,additional documents that it,or any
person acting on its behalf,may later obtain that will augment the documents or information
produced.
Please provide answers to each question;supporting workpapers that provide detail or are
the source of information used in calculations;and the name,job title,and telephonenumber of
the person preparing the documents.Please also identify the name,job title,location,and
telephone number of the record holder.

Excel spreadsheets and electronic files with formulas intact and enabled.
REQUESTNO.37:Please provide the count,total nameplate capacity,average kW
size,total battery capacity,and average battery capacity of active and pending solar+batterytype
export systems by class.
REQUESTNO.38:Please explain why it is appropriateto model exports from
customer-generator solar+battery systems in the same manner as exports from a standalone solar
system when the Company's battery resources are modeled separately in the LOLE algorithm.
REQUESTNO.39:Please explain if gaming opportunities exist for customer-
generators with solar+battery systems under the Company's proposed ECR.If,so how does the
Company plan to prevent or mitigate gaming exports during on-peak times.
REQUESTNO.40:Please describe what factors are driving the delay between the
annual update time frame of 12 months ending Dec.316'and the proposed filing date in April.In
the response,please explain when and what data is available,and how long it takes to process it
followingthe end of the annual time period.
