The Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission,by and through its attorney of record,
Chris Burdin,Deputy Attorney General,requests that Idaho Power Company ("Idaho Power"or
"Company")provide the followingdocuments and information as soon as possible,but no later
than,WEDNESDAY,JULY 5,2023.
This Production Request is to be considered as continuing,and Idaho Power Company is
requested to provide,by way of supplementary responses,additional documents that it,or any
person acting on its behalf,may later obtain that will augment the documents or information
produced.
Please provide answers to each question;supporting workpapers that provide detail or are
the source of information used in calculations;and the name,job title,and telephone number of
the person preparing the documents.Please also identify the name,job title,location,and
telephonenumber of the record holder.

Excel spreadsheets and electronic files with formulas intact and enabled.
REQUESTNO.1:Please provide all workpapers,in Excel format with formulas intact
and enabled.
REQUESTNO.2:Please explain where line losses are accounted for in the calculation
of avoided generation capacity.
REQUESTNO.3:Please explain why Sundays and holidays are excluded from on-
peak hours during the Jun-Sep window and provide data that supports that position.
REQUESTNO.4:Please explain and provide worksheets showing how the Effective
Load Carrying Capacity ("ELCC")Megawatt ("MW")values were determined for customer
generation exports in 2020-2022.See Exhibit 2,"Gen_Capacity"tab.
REQUESTNO.5:Utilities are shiftingto seasonal ELCC values for their variable
energy resources.Please calculate and provide worksheets showing "on-peak"and "off-peak"
seasonal ELCC values for customer generation exports for the years 2020-2022.
