CASE NO. IPC-E-23-11
IDAHO POWER COMPANY’S
RESPONSE TO THE THIRTEENTH
PRODUCTION REQUEST OF THE
COMMISSION STAFF TO IDAHO
POWER COMPANY
COMES NOW, Idaho Power Company (“Idaho Power” or “Company”), and in
response to the Thirteenth Production Request of the Commission Staff (“Commission”
or “Staff”) dated August 22, 2023, herewith submits the following information:
IDAHO POWER COMPANY’S RESPONSE TO THE THIRTEENTH PRODUCTION REQUEST OF THE
COMMISSION STAFF - 2
REQUEST FOR PRODUCTION NO. 265: Regarding the Company's response to
Staff Production Request No. 31, please provide the rules, policies, and guidelines in
effect during 2022 for employees who had P-cards.
RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR PRODUCTION NO. 265: Please refer to Idaho
Power’s Supplemental Response to Staff Request for Production No. 31 filed August 25,
2023.
The response to this Request is sponsored by Paula Jeppsen, Forecasting and
Planning Director, Idaho Power Company.
IDAHO POWER COMPANY’S RESPONSE TO THE THIRTEENTH PRODUCTION REQUEST OF THE
COMMISSION STAFF - 3
REQUEST FOR PRODUCTION NO. 266: Regarding the Company's response to
Staff Production Request No. 134, please provide receipts for the transactions listed in
the confidential attachment "P-Card Receipt Sample."
RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR PRODUCTION NO. 266: As previously
discussed with Staff, Idaho Power Company will provide a response to this request on
September 12, 2023.
IDAHO POWER COMPANY’S RESPONSE TO THE THIRTEENTH PRODUCTION REQUEST OF THE
COMMISSION STAFF - 4
REQUEST FOR PRODUCTION NO. 267: Please provide a log of per diem
issuances to employees in 2022. Please include date, amount, FERC account, and
reason for each issuance.
RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR PRODUCTION NO. 267: Please see Attachment
1 – Response to Staff Request No. 267. Idaho Power is unable to specifically identify per
diem expenses separate from all other expense reimbursements. Employees are
reimbursed for per diem expenses through an out of pocket (“OOP”) expense
reimbursement. Therefore, Idaho Power is providing all OOP expense reimbursements
for the requested time frame. It should be noted that the accounting date (DB2DATE) can
sometimes be more than one month after the transaction date. Because they are subject
to leader approval, the requests remain in the system until approved. Leaders sometimes
take longer to approve when the per diem request is separate from the pcard
reconciliation. The employee isn’t reimbursed until the request is approved.
The response to this Request is sponsored by Paula Jeppsen, Forecasting and
Planning Director, Idaho Power Company.
