MINUTE ORDER
Idaho Code §61-2 1 1 provides that any investigation,inquiry or hearing which the
Commission has the power to undertake or hold may be conducted before any Commissioner or
hearing examiner designated for that purpose by the Commission.
ORDER
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that Karl T.Klein,Deputy Attorney General,is
appointed as hearing examiner pursuant to Idaho Code §61-211 to represent the Commission
whenever it shall designate him as the official who shall undertake or hold any Commission
investigation,inquiry or hearing.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the following Minute Orders appointing previous
hearing examiners are rescinded:P-500-77 (Copsey and Stutzman);P-500-83 (Antonuk);P-500-84
(Ayers);P-500-$5 (Nordstrom);P-500-86 (Hammond);and P-500-88 (Walker).

Assistant Commission Secretary.

Secretary and is authorized to act in place of the Commission Secretary when the Commission
Secretary is unavailable.

PURPOSES OF THE IDAHO SUNSHINE LAW,)
IDAHO CODE §67-6601 FT SEQ.)MINUTE ORDER
Idaho’s “Sunshine Law”is codified at Idaho Code §67-6601 et seq.The 2006 amendments
to the Sunshine Law expanded the registration and reporting requirements for paid lobbyists when they
lobby state executive officials.Idaho Code §67-6602(g)(5)defines “executive official”as the members
of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission and the Commission’s executive or chiefadministrative officers.
The Commission’s current Executive Administrator,V.Joe Leckie,is designated as the Commission’s
executive administrative officer for purposes of Idaho’s Sunshine Law.
ORDER
IT tS THEREFORE ORDERED that V.Joe Leckie is designated as the Commission’s
executive administrative officer for purposes of the Sunshine Law.Idaho Code §67-6602(g)(5).
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Minute Order in Case No.P-500-87 dated September 5,
2006,is hereby rescinded.
