IPC-E-21-21 IDAHO POWER COMPANY’S RESPONSE TO DISCOVERY REQUEST #2 OF KIKI TIDWELL COMES NOW, Idaho Power Company (“Idaho Power” or “Company”), and in response to the Second Discovery Request of Kiki Tidwell dated November 10, 2021, herewith submits the following information: IDAHO POWER COMPANY’S RESPONSE TO DISCOVERY REQUEST #2 OF KIKI TIDWELL - 2 REQUEST NO. 4: For the past three years, what has been the exact kWhs of on- site generation customers’ generation contrasted to total Idaho Power kWh generation, as well as the total dollar amount of credits given to all on-site-generation customers for the same time periods, as well as annual energy sales for Idaho Power. (Idaho Power’s last rate application’s reported $2,355,906,412 Idaho retail rate base1 RESPONSE TO REQUEST NO. 4: Please see the responses below to each of the items requested for 2018, 2019, and 2020. (1) Customer Total Generation (kWh): Idaho Power does not receive total generation data for customer-generators. Customers can offset their consumption with their generation before energy is exported and measured by the utility's meter. Therefore, Idaho Power only receives generation-related data for net energy exported to the utility. (2) Idaho Power Total Generation (thousands of MWh): The table below provides a summary of the total energy generated by Idaho Power generation facilities for the years 2018 through 2020 in thousands of megawatt-hours (“MWh”). (3) Excess Net Energy Credits (kWh): Excess Net Energy is defined as the positive difference between the kilowatt-hours ("kWh") generated by a customer and the kWh supplied by the Company over the applicable Billing Period. On-site generation customers receive a kWh credit for Excess Net Energy, not a financial credit.
