COMES NOW, ldaho Power Company ("ldaho Powef or "Company'), and in
response to the First Production Request of the Commission Staff to ldaho Power
Company dated March 22,2021, herewith submits the following information:
IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S RESPONSE TO FIRST PRODUCTION REQUEST OF THE
COMMISSION STAFF- 1
REQUEST NO. 1: Please provide all internal audit reports and SOX reports
associated with the FCA or any components of the FCA that have been completed since
2019.
RESPONSE TO REQUEST NO. 1: Audit Services performed audits of internal
controls over system checks supporting the FCA and components of the FCA during the
period of 2019 to present as part of complying with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
The related SOX processes are Regulatory Fixed Cost Adjustment (RPFC), Customer
Revenues (CREV) Customer Revenues lT (CRIT), and Entity-Wide lnformation &
Communication (EWIC C02). Audit Reports are only issued for SOX internal control
audits in the event of a finding(s). SOX testing is performed on a rotational basis. The
following table provides testing performed on these SOX processes by year:

It is noted the rate schedules impacted by the 2020 deficiency for CRIT C05 were
not the rate schedules included in the FCA, or FCA deferralcalculation.

The requested information is proprietary and confidential. Given the voluminous
nature of the documents provided in response to this request and current circumstances
regarding COVID-19 limiting on-site review, the Company has posted these attachments
to a secure FTP site to allow parties to view the requested information remotely. Because
attachments contain confidentialinformation, the FTP site is password protected and wil!
only be provided to those parties who have executed the Protective Agreement in this
matter.

REQUEST NO. 3: For the customer counts listed in Exhibit No. 3, please provide
an explanation of how the monthly customer counts were derived. Also, please provide
supporting documentation for these monthly customers counts.
RESPONSE TO REQUEST NO.3: Please see the two attachments provided for
this response.
Monthly customer counts are calculated by multiplying Number of Customers
('NCUST') customer count against a relationship between the number of meters and
active Utility Service Agreements (USAs'). The monthly NCUST customer count is
provided from the respective month's NCUST Report, which is a count of customers
receiving service the day cycle 21 billing is generated and includes partial-month
customers. The relationship between the historica! number of meters and active USAs is
from the Company's last genera! rate case, IPC-E-11-08, test year. Application of the
relationship of meter counts and USAs to NGUST customers counts which include partial
month customers approximates equivalent full month only customers.
