STAFF’S DATA REQUEST NO. 52: Please provide a table of all WECC-wide resources (and resource retirements) selected by Aurora in the WECC-wide optimized resource portfolios underlying P14 and P16, in electronic Excel format. Please provide the resource type, location, and capacity for each
resource. IDAHO POWER COMPANY’S RESPONSE TO STAFF’S DATA REQUEST NO. 52: All WECC-wide resources and retirements by resource type, location, and capacity for portfolios P14 and P16 are contained in the attachment provided in response to this request. Additionally, the requested information about WECC resources including new and retired resources can be found in the Protected Information Aurora database file titled “2019 IRP.xdb”
that was provided in the Company’s response to Staff’s Request No. 38. The Aurora database is a culmination of multiple input tables that are sorted by Table Type. The existing WECC resources are in the “Resources” Table Type labeled: “Resources Disaggregated”. The
resources table includes all existing resources within the WECC. New resources or expedited retirements from the resources table are in the “Resource Modifier” Table Type labeled: “RMT_Portfolio”. All 24 unique portfolios are identified with a 1 through 24 after the “Portfolio”.
For example, Portfolio 14 is “RMT_Portfolio14”.
