The response to this Request is sponsored by Paul Goralski, Regulatory Analyst, ldaho Power Company IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S RESPONSE TO THE FIRST PRODUCTION REQUEST OF THE COMMISSION STAFF - 3 REQUEST NO. 3: Please break down the Company's annual 2017 DSM energy efficiency savings of 191,471 MWh (Goralski Direct at 3) into residential and small general service components. RESPONSE TO REQUEST NO. 3: The ldaho residential savings from ldaho Power administered programs for 2017 relative to the total claimed savings of 191,471 megawatt-hour ("MWh') is 63,570 MWh. The total ldaho savings attributable to the Commercial and lndustrial sector from ldaho Power administered programs include energy savings from Small General Service, Large General Service, and Large Power Service, and totals 81,978 MWh for the Commercial and lndustrial sector of the 191,417 MWh total claimed savings. The energy savings specific to ldaho Small General Service participants is 1,090 MWh. The system-wide market transformation savings from programs and initiatives administered by the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance ("NEEA') are estimated each year by NEEA prior to issuing final year-end reports. The ldaho allocation of NEEA net market effect savings across residential and commercial classes for 2017 is 22,137 MWh, with 15,895 MWh of residential savings and 6,242 MWh of commercial savings. The net market effect savings estimates provided by NEEA include small general service savings with the commercial savings. ldaho Power is unable to distinguish the small general service savings from the total commercial savings. The Demand-Side Management 2017 Annual Report is available online at www.idahopower.com/enerqvefficiencv/reports.cfm and contains jurisdiction level breakouts of savings in Appendix 5.
