Method applied to calculate total excess generation by ldaho Power customers in 2017:
ln the Excel Anachment to Staff Request No. 8, ldaho Power provides a worksheet labeled
"NEM Hourly Load data" covering 8784 hours of load data in 2016. Cuslomers numbered I
through 565 in that worksheet are on schedule "l0l Net". or residential net metering.
I applied a lbrmula across all hours and all ldaho residential net metering customers provided by
Idaho Power in the data set to calculate the total excess generation by residential customers. For
example, the formula applied to cell C4 of ldaho Por+er Response to Production Request No 8.
was:
II-('NEM 20t6 HOURI,Y [,OAD DAI"A'!C4<0,'NEM 2016 HOURLY LOAD DATA'!C4,o)
81'repeating this- we created a worksheet of hourly export data. See anached excel file.
