Project Description:
Woodpeckers have damaged structures to the point of failure. Wreck out and replace
Structures 536, 538, and 539 while the line remains energized. . A significant amount of
road, approximately .75 mile, must be re-established. Working pads are required at two
structures. Agreements have been struck with the property owner at the entrance to
this area. His name is Buffalo Rixon. He lives at the entrance to this stretch. Flaggers
are required on the roadway below the line during excavation to safeguard against
rolling rocks. Poles are steel and will not be pre-drilled. See the structure list for further
instruction.
Permits: Although a SWPPP is not required, all vehicles and equipment must be
cleaned of weed seeds prior to beginning the project.
Locates: The contractor or crew is responsible for notifying digline and acquiring all
necessary locations prior to commencing work.
Outages: No outage allowed.
All construction expenses should be charged to task 2.
