The Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, by and through its attorney of record,
Camille Christen, Deputy Attorney General, request that Idaho Power Company (Idaho Power or
Company) provide the following documents and information as soon as possible, or by
FRIDAY, MARCH 17,2017.
This Production Request is continuing, and Idaho Power is requested to provide, by way
of supplementary responses, additional documents that it or any person acting on its behalf may
later obtain that will augment the documents produced.
Please provide answers to each question and supporting workpapers that provide detail or
are the source of information used in calculations. Idaho Power is reminded that responses
pursuant to Commission Rules of Procedure must include the name and phone number of the
person preparing the document, and the name, location and phone number of the record holder
and if different the witness who can sponsor the answer at hearing if need be. IDAPA

Excel and electronic files on CD with formulas activated.
REQUEST NO.24: Please provide the book value of the North Valmy Power Plant, by
FERC sub-account, as of the l2l3ll20l I as reflected in rates as of the last general rate case.
REQUEST NO. 25: Please provide the additions and retirements to the North Valmy
Power Plant, by FERC sub-account for the years2012 through what was included in the current
filing. Please provide the source documents for the plant additions and retirements.
REQUEST NO. 26: Please provide the source documents for the estimates for future
plant additions and retirements to the North Valmy Power Plant included in the filing.
REQUEST NO. 27: Decommissioning Costs are currently accounted for as an Asset
Retirement Obligation. Please provide Staff with the accounting and journal entries, details and
source documents related to this ARO.
REQUEST NO.28: Did the current Depreciation Study include a review and analysis
of the North Valmy Power Plant as it pertains to salvage value? Please explain.
