COMES NOW, ldaho Power Company ("ldaho Powe/' or "Compatry"), and in
response to the Second Data Request of Micron Technology, lnc. to ldaho Power
Company dated January 30, 2017, herewith submits the following information:
IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S RESPONSE TO THE SECOND DATA REQUEST
OF MICRON TECHNOLOGY, INC. TO IDAHO POWER COMPANY - 1
REQUEST NO. 2-23: Refening to page 4 of the Application (paragraph 7),
please provide in Excel format the "cunent plant-in-service amounts" by account, to
which the proposed depreciation rates were applied. This schedule should show how
the $5.69 million total system increase and the $5.5 million ldaho jurisdictiona! increase
were calculated.
RESPONSE TO REQUEST NO. 2-23: Please see Attachment No. 1 on the
enclosed CD for the cunent plant-in-service amounts by account to which the proposed
depreciation rates were applied to compute the incremental depreciation expense on a
system basis. Attachment No. 2 on the enclosed CD computes the ldaho jurisdictional
incremental depreciation expense and reserve adjustments. The $5.5 million ldaho
jurisdictional depreciation and amortization expense increase requested in this case is
the sum of the incremental depreciation expense of $4,019,455 plus the generat plant
adjustment of $1,480,765.
