The Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission requests that Idaho Power Company
(Company; IPC) provide the following documents and information as soon as possible, but no
later than TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2013.
This Production Request is to be considered as continuing, and Idaho Power Company is
requested to provide, by way of supplementary responses, additional documents that it or any
person acting on its behalf may later obtain that will augment the documents or information
produced.
Please provide answers to each question, supporting workpapers that provide detail or are
the source of information used in calculations, and the name, job title and telephone number of
the person preparing the documents. Please identify the name, job title, location and telephone
number of the record holder.

In addition to the written copies provided as response to the requests, please provide all
Excel and electronic files on CD with formulas activated.
REQUEST NO. 1: Please provide a copy of all the AURORA input and output files that
Idaho Power used to determine the base level of Net Power Supply Expense (NPSE) as discussed
in Scott Wright's testimony. Please provide the files electronically in an AuRoRA-compatible
or Excel format as appropriate.
REQUEST NO. 2: Please provide a copy of all workpapers used to determine the
amount of PURPA costs, which Idaho Power proposes be included in base NPSE.
REQUEST NO. 3: Please provide workpapers and any related documentation to
determine the amount of Water for Power (Account 536) costs, which Idaho Power proposes be
included in base NPSE.
REQUEST NO.4: Please provide workpapers that support the calculation of the new
LCAR rate shown in Exhibit No. 3.
REQUEST NO. 5: Please provide workpapers supporting the calculation of proposed
2013 base transmission costs (Account 565) of $5,455,955.
