TO IDAHO POWER COMPANY - 1 REQUEST NO. 5-1: With respect to the Company's response to DOE 3-9, the hourly loads in watts in CONFI-17.xLS for 2010 are much lower than Micron's coincident and biling demands used in the cost of service study. Please provide an explanation of and reconcilation of the significant difference in loads for 2010 and used in the cost of service study. RESPONSE TO REQUEST NO. 5-1: Load research data provided on the confidential CD in the Company's response to the U.S. Department of Energy's Request No. 3-9(b) represents average hourly usage per meter for each rate class. Because usage for Micron Technology, Inc., is measured at 12 separate meters, the data provided in the aforementioned response represents the average hourly usage for a single meter, not total usage for the customer as a whole. Test year coincident and billing demands are based on total class usage and were not derived from the averaged data referenced in this Request. The response to this Request was prepared by Matthew T.
