COMES NOW, Idaho Power Company ("Idaho Powet' or "Company"), and in
response to the Ninth Production Request of the Commission Staff to Idaho Power
Company dated August 8, 2011, herewith submits the following information:
IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S RESPONSE TO THE NINTH PRODUCTION
REQUEST OF THE COMMISSION STAFF TO IDAHO POWER COMPANY - 1
REQUEST NO. 153: Please provide the number of Idaho accounts that received
Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (L1HEAP) assistance and were signed
up for Moratorium protection from disconnection by month, for each of the past three
winter heating seasons (2008/2009, 2009/2010, 2010/2011).
RESPONSE TO REQUEST NO. 153: Idaho Power does not have data available
for the number of Moratorium protection sign-ups prior to November 2009.

Data regarding Moratorium protection is tracked at the service agreement level
not at the account leveL. A service agreement is flagged as having received a L1HEAP
payment if an energy assistance payment was received on the service agreement within
the past twelve months.

RESPONSE TO REQUEST NO. 156: Arrears information is maintained at the
residential, commercial, industrial, and irrigation leveL. Residential arrears information is
not available by Schedule 1, 4, and 5; rather, the information provided below is the total
arrears for all three residential schedules. In addition, residential arrears information for
the Idaho jurisdiction is not available prior to November 2009. Arrears information for
Idaho Schedule 7 customers is not available. Tracking of residential arrears is
performed at the service agreement level not at the account leveL. A service agreement
is considered to be in arrears if the balance owing is 31 + days past the biling date.

REQUEST NO. 170: Pursuant to Utility Customer Relations Rule (UCRR)
308.03, in 2008, 2009 and 2010, how many medical certificates were received by the
Company? Of those certificates received, how many requests for an extension of time
to pay were granted in each of those years?
RESPONSE TO REQUEST NO. 170: Idaho Power does not track the number of
medical certificates received. Therefore, a count of the certificates received and the
number of requests for an extension of time to pay are not available.
Idaho Power does have information available regarding the number of accounts
for which a payment arrangement was made due to receipt of a medical certificate. In
addition, information regarding the number of medical certificate-related payment
arrangements made is available. This information is provided below.
