COMES NOW, Idaho Power Company ("Idaho Powet' or "the Company"), and in
response to the Fourth Production Request of the Commission Staff to Idaho Power
Company dated September 1, 2010, herewith submits the following information:

RESPONSE TO REQUEST NO. 26: Idaho Power does not store program data
in the exact manner as Staff has requested. The Company has provided as much of
the same information as possible in electronic form and has provided explanations
when data definitions may vary from what Staff has requested.
Easy Upgrades
Included on the enclosed disk is a spreadsheet with a list of the projects for
which incentives were paid from the Idaho Energy Efficiency Rider through the Easy
Upgrades program in 2008 and 2009. Contained in the spreadsheet are the following
fields:

Idaho Power considers specific customer information confidential and as such
the confidential information has been excluded from the spreadsheet provided with this
response. Specific customer information associated with Easy Upgrades' projects is
available for Staff to audit at Idaho Powets headquarters upon signing a protective
agreement. Please contact Doug Jones at 388-2615 or Camila Victoria at 388-5821 to
arrange an on-site audit.
The Excel file included on the enclosed CD contains four tabs:
1. Easy Upgrades Projects 2008.09. This tab contains a list of all
Idaho Easy Upgrades projects.
2. 2008 Savings by Measure. This tab contains a list of all available
Easy Upgrades measures, their code designations, and the savings
calculations used in 2008.
3. 2009 Measure Codes. This tab contains the code designations,
which correlate to the measure names used in Idaho Powets
Demand-Side Management 2009 Report, Supplement 1: Cost-
Effectiveness ("Supplement 1 "). Please note that the measure
offerings and measure code designations changed between 2008
and 2009.
4. 2009 Easy Upgrades Supplement 1. This tab is an electronic
version of pages 46-55 of Supplement 1 with an additional column
added which contains the measure code.
The source of the savings used in reporting the 2009 energy savings and
demand reduction are cited in Supplement 1, pages 45-55.

Easy Upgrades is a prescriptive program, which offers incentives for the
purchase and installation of energy efficiency products in existing facilties. Equipment
and installation requirements are listed in the specifications sections of the application
worksheets. Due to this and the fact that there were over 1,900 projects submitted
through Easy Upgrades in 2008 and 2009, not all projects are inspected and,
consequently, do not have an Installation Verification Date. When available, the
measure implementation date is pulled directly from the application, in which the
customer reports the project "completion date." For more information on the terms and
conditions of participating in the Easy Upgrades program, as well as equipment and
installation requirements go to:

In 2008, there are eleven payments for which the Customer State is listed as
"WA" and the Project No. begins with "VM." These were payments made to a
Washington-based third-party installation contractor who performed work for Idaho
customers participating in the Vending Miser promotion. Also, in early 2008, there were
three payments made for the Holiday Lighting promotion. The Holiday Lighting
promotion began as a pilot within Easy Upgrades and later became its own stand alone
program. These projects are designated with a Project No. beginning with "HL."
