March 2010 Quarterly PUC Update
Dear Ms. Jewell:
Idaho Power filed its second quarterly update on the progress of the Langley Gulch
power plant on March 2, 2010.
It has come to our attention that there is a typographical error in the text of the
update. The typographical error materially changes one sentence and, as a result, Idaho
Power thought it was important to correct the error. The third sentence in the second full
paragraph currently reads: "After field evaluations of. the groundwater and aquifer
conditions and state agency permitting process changes,perrnittingof injection wells,
infiltration ponds, or land application would be feasible options for disposal of spent cooling
water." That sentence should read: "After field evaluations ofthegroondwaterand aquifer
conditions and state agency permitting process changes, permitting of injection wells,
infiltration ponds, or land application would not be feasible options for disposal of spent
cooling water."
Idaho Power apologizes for any inconvenience this typographical error may have
caused.
