Interenor The Building Contrctors Association of Southwester Idaho, by and though
its attorneys of reord, Given Puley LLP, and puruat to IPUC Rules of Proceure requess
that Idaho Power Company ("Idaho Power") provide the followig docuents and information.
Ths Production Request is to be consider as contiuig, and Idaho Power is requested
to prvide, by way of supplementa responses, additional documents that it or any peron acting
on its behaf may later obta that will augment the docuents produced.
Please provide anwer to each question and any supprtg work pape that provide
detail or are the source of information us in calculations together with the name and phone
number of the peron preparg the docuent, and the name, location and phone numbe of the

In addition to the wrtten copies provided as response to the questions, please provide all
Excel and electronic fies on CD with formulas activated.
REQUEST NO.1: For each year from 1995 thugh 2008, please provide Idaho
Power's tota distrbution plant expese by cutomer class. For schedules 1, 7 and 9 please also
provide Idaho Power's total new distrbution plant expenditues to sere new customer in each
year 1995 though 2008.
REQUEST NO.2: Please state for a "tyical" residential subdivision intalation,
approximately how many end use customer are sered by a single overhead or pad mounted
trsformer? For purses of responding to ths request, please assume that a"tyica"
residential subdvision is a subdivision with a density of one or more residence per acre. If
Idaho Power would charactere a "tyical" residential subdivision differntly, please state what
Idaho Power's charcterzation would be and respond to ths request accordingly.
REQUEST NO.3: Pleae provide the work order for reuests for serce (redcted
if, and as, approprate to maitai confidentiality customer information) made beee 2005 and
2007 for a "typical" subdivision. For each request for serce, pleae compare the costs and
distrbution of costs allocable to tota line extenion and terinal facilties, for single phase
serce, as those costs would be borne by the developer (i.e., the biling from Idao Power,
vested interst costs, allowance for teral facilities, and refuds per connecg customer)
under Idaho Power's existig Rule H tarff and under its proposed Rule H tarff
REQUEST NO.4: Please provide those portons or seons of Idaho Power's cost
study us for IPC-E-08-10 that relate to and/or quatify the cost allocable to Idaho Power's
distrbution facilities.
REQUEST NO.5: Pleae provide the curent embedded cost pe residential customer
for existing distrbution facilties, for Schedules 1, 7 and 9 serce.
REQUEST NO.6: Pleas provide the number of new customer, by class, added to IPCo
load for each year 1995 thugh 2008, and provide Idaho Power's projectons, if any, for year
2009 and 2010."'
