IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION

MINUTES OF DECISION MEETING

JULY 11, 2011 – 1:30 P.M.

In attendance were Commissioners Paul Kjellander, Mack Redford, and Marsha Smith.

Commissioner Kjellander called the meeting to order. The first order of business was APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING on Wednesday, July 6, 2011. The Commission voted unanimously to approve the minutes as written.

The second order of business was approval of the CONSENT AGENDA:
2. Kristine Sasser's July 7, 2011 Decision Memorandum re: Application of Avista Corporation for the Authority to Increase Its Rates and Charges for Electric and Natural Gas Service in Idaho, Case Nos. AVU-E-11-01/AVU-G-11-01.
There was no discussion and the Commission voted unanimously to approve Staff’s recommendations for item 2 on the Consent Agenda.
The next order of business was MATTERS IN PROGRESS:
3. Motion of Allied Wireless Communications Corporation to Defer Deliberations, Case No. TMW-T-10-01. [Don Howell, Attorney.]
Mr. Howell reviewed the motion before the Commission. He noted that counsel for T-Mobile and Allied Communications were present at the meeting.
Commissioner Kjellander stated that the case was initiated in December of 2010, so deferring deliberations at this point was not warranted. He made a motion to deny the request for a deferral of deliberation. A vote was taken on the motion and it carried unanimously.

Commissioner Kjellander stated that items 4 - 9 would be deliberated privately.
There was no further business before the Commission and Commissioner Kjellander adjourned the meeting.
