IDAHO IRRIGATION PUMPERS ASSOCIATION, INC. ("lIP A"), by and
through its attorneys, hereby submits this Second Data Request to Idaho Power
Company, pursuant to Rule 225 ofthe Idaho Public Utility Commission s Rules of
Procedure, IDAPA 31.01.01 , as follows:
lIP A Mr. Said's testimony beginning at page 12 line 25 describes the
fact that input into the power cost model reflected hourly retail load. Please provide the
following in Excel format:
a. For the power cost model run used in Exhibit 33, please supply the hourly system
retail loads used for each hour ofthe test year (specify date and hour of each
entry).

e. For the power cost model run used in Exhibit 33 , please supply the hourly Idaho
Irrigation retail loads used for each hour of the test year (specify date and hour of
each entry).

Please indicate how this data was derived, i., load research data, etc.
lIP A The Irrigators would like to quantify the impact on the Company
net power costs of shifting 1 0 MW each hour of on-peak energy to the off-peak. For
purposes of this request, assume on-peak is defined as every weekday (except holidays)
between 7:00 A.M. to 9:00: P.M. (70 hours per week) and the corresponding increase in
usage of 700 MWH is spread evenly (7.14 MW) over the remaining 98 off-peak hours
during the week. Please supply the Company s net power costs under these assumptions
in a format similar to Exhibit 33 page 1. If other assumptions need to be made regarding
this request, please specify.
lIP A 3: With respect to Request 2-2 above, what is the allocated portion of the
net power costs to the Idaho Jurisdiction, assuming that the 10 MW on-peak shift to off-
peak all occurred in Idaho?
lIP A 4: The Irrigators would like to quantify the impact on the Company s net
power costs of shifting 7.14 MW of hourly off-peak energy to on-peak. For purposes of

this request, assume that 10 MW is added during every weekday between 7:00 A.M. to
9:00 P.M. (70 hours) and the corresponding reduction in usage of700 MWH is spread
evenly (7.14 MW) over the remaining 98 off-peak hours during the week. Please supply
the Company s net power costs under these assumptions in a format similar to Exhibit 33
page 1. If other assumptions need to be made regarding this request, please specify.
IIPA 2-5: With respect to Request 2-4 above, what is the allocated portion of the
net power costs to the Idaho Jurisdiction, assuming that the shift fIom off-peak to on-
peak all occurred in Idaho?
IIPA 2-6: Please provide the same information as in Request 2-2 above except for
only the months of June, July, and August.
lIP A 7: With respect to Request 2-6 above, what is the allocated amount ($) of
the net power costs to Idaho, assuming that the 10 MW on-peak shift to off-peak all
occurred in Idaho?
IIPA 2-8: Please supply data in a format similar to Exhibit 29, based upon all of
the Company s assumptions, except incorporating the shift in usage as portrayed in
Request 2-6 above.
lIP A 2-9: Please provide the same information as in Request 2-4 above except for
only the months of June, July, and August.
IIPA 2-10: With respect to Request 2-9 above, what is the allocated amount ($)
of the net power costs to Idaho, assuming that the 7.14 MW off-peak shift to on-peak all
occurred in Idaho?
