The Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, by and through its attorney of record
Weldon B. Stutzman, Deputy Attorney General, requests that Idaho Power Company (Company;
IPC) provide the following documents and information as soon as possible, but no later than
FRIDAY, AUGUST 17,2007.

This Production Request is to be considered as continuing, and Idaho Power Company is
requested to provide, by way of supplementary responses, additional documents that it or any
person acting on its behalf may later obtain that will augment the documents produced.
For each item, please indicate the name of the person(s) preparing the answers, along with
the job title of such person(s) and the witness who can sponsor the answer at hearing.
REQUEST NO. 10: Please provide the following energy information used in the
Company s filing.
a) Energy use by schedule prior to weather normalization.
b) Weather normalized energy use by schedule.
c) The development of energy allocators used in the Jurisdictional Separations Study.
d) The development of energy allocators used in the Idaho Class Cost of Service Study.
e) The development ofthe system energy load used in the Company s AURORA power
supply model runs.
f) Identify and discuss any forecast adjustments included in the energy amounts provided in
a) through e) above.
REQUEST NO. 11: Please provide the following demand information used in the
Company s filing.
a) Demand by schedule prior to any adjustments.
b) Demand by Schedule after any adjustments as used for revenue calculations in Company
Exhibit No. 59.
c) The development of demand allocators as used in the Jurisdictional Separations Study.
d) The development of demand allocators as used in the Idaho Class Cost of Service Study.
e) Identify and discuss any forecast adjustments included in the demand amounts provided
in a) through d) above.

REQUEST NO. 12: Please provide the following customer information used in the
Company s filing.
a) The number of customers by Schedule prior to any adjustments.
b) The number of customers by Schedule after any adjustments as shown in Company
Exhibit No. 59.
c) The development of the number of customers used in the Company s Jurisdictional
Separations Study.
d) The development of the number of customers used in the Company s Class Cost of
Service Study.
e) Identify and discuss any forecast adjustments included in the amounts of customers
provided in a) through d) above.
REQUEST NO. 13: In accordance with Rule No. 403 of the Utility Customer Relations
Rules (UCRR), please provide the written records from November 2005 through June 2007 of
customer complaints and requests for conferences.
REQUEST NO. 14: Please provide the Company s performance objectives for handling
incoming calls. If the performance objectives differ between the Customer Service Call Center and
the Distribution Operation Center, please explain.
REQUEST NO. 15: Please provide the number of incoming calls for the Customer Service
Call Center handled by month from November 2005 through June 2007. How many calls were
completed solely through the use of the IVR system and how many were ACD calls?
REQUEST NO. 16: Please provide the number of abandoned calls to the Customer Service
Call Center by month from November 2005 through June 2007. "Abandoned calls" are calls that
reach the Company s incoming telephone system, but are terminated by the caller before speaking
with a customer service representative.

REQUEST NO. 17: Please provide the average speed of answer for the Customer Service
Call Center by month from November 2005 through June 2007. The "average speed of answer" is
the interval between when a call reaches the Company s incoming telephone system and when the
call is picked up by a customer service representative, and is typically measured in seconds.
REQUEST NO. 18: Please provide the service level for the Customer Service Call Center
by month from November 2005 through June 2007. "Service level" is the percentage of calls
answered within a certain number of seconds, e., 80% of calls answered within 20 seconds.
REQUEST NO. 19: Please provide the average number of busy signals reached by parties
calling the Customer Service Call Center by month from November 2005 through June 2007.
REQUEST NO. 20: Please provide the average response time for e-mail transactions by
month from November 2005 through June 2007. "Average response time" is the average number of
hours from receipt of an e-mail by the Company to sending a substantive response; auto-response
acknowledgements do not count as a substantive response.
REQUEST NO. 21: Please provide the number of incoming "outage" calls handled by the
Distribution Operation Center by month from November 2005 through June 2007. How many calls
were completed solely through the use ofthe IVR system and how many were ACD calls.
REQUEST NO. 22: Please provide the number of abandoned calls to the Distribution
