HomeMy WebLinkAbout20110329min.docIDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION MINUTES OF DECISION MEETING MARCH 29, 2011 – 1:30 P.M. In attendance were Commissioners Mack Redford and Marsha Smith. Commissioner Kempton was absent and excused. Commissioner Redford called the meeting to order. The first order of business was APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING on Monday, March 21st, 2011. The Commission voted unanimously to approve the minutes as written. The second order of business was approval of the CONSENT AGENDA: 2. Carolee Hall's March 25, 2011 Decision Memorandum re: Application for Approval to Amend the Interconnection Agreement Between Qwest and McLeodUSA dba Paetec, Case No. QWE-T-00-07. 3. Carolee Hall's March 24, 2011 Decision Memorandum re: Application of Liberty-Bell, LLC Asking to Amend Certificate No. 500 to Reflect Its Company Reorganization and Name Change to Liberty-Bell Telecom, LLC dba Dish Network Phone & Internet, Case No. LBT-T-10-01. 4. Don Howell's March 25, 2011 Decision Memorandum re: Settlement Agreement, BPA REP-12 Case. Kristine Sasser's March 25, 2011 Decision Memorandum re: Idaho Power's Application for Authority to Implement Fixed Cost Adjustment Rates, Case No. IPC-E-11-03. 6. Weldon Stutzman's March 22, 2011 Decision Memorandum re: Idaho Power's Application to Increase Rates to Recover Its 2010 Pension Benefit Contribution, Case No. IPC-E-11-04. There was no discussion and the Commission voted unanimously to approve Staff’s recommendations for items 2 through 6 on the Consent Agenda. The next order of business was MATTERS IN PROGRESS: 7. Discussion re: CTC Wireless and ITA's Two Joint Motions to Compel Discovery or, in the Alternative, Motions In Limine to Exclude Evidence, Case No. TFW-T-09-01. [Neil Price, Attorney] Commissioner Smith stated that the Motions relate to the hearing scheduled in this matter for Thursday, March 31, 2011. She stated that as chairman of the hearing, she had asked the staff attorney to notify the attorneys who had filed the motions that the Commission will consider them at the beginning of the hearing on Thursday. Commissioner Redford agreed with this approach and there was no further discussion. FULLY SUBMITTED MATTERS: 8. Deliberation re: Rocky Mountain Power's ECAM Application, Case No. PAC-E-11-07. [Don Howell, Attorney] Commissioner Redford stated that item 8 would be deliberated privately.
