COMES NOW , Idaho Power Company ("Idaho Power" or "the Company ) and
requests that NW Energy Coalition provide the following documents and information as
soon as possible but no later than October 9, 2006.
This production request is to be considered as continuing, and NW Energy
Coalition is requested to provide, by way of supplementary responses, additional
documents that it or any person acting on its behalf may later obtain that will augment the

documents or information produced.
Please provide supporting work papers that provide detail or are the source of
information used in calculations.
For each item please indicate the name of the person(s) preparing the answers
along with the job title of such person(s) and the witness who can sponsor the answer at
hearing.
REQUEST FOR PRODUCTION NO.1: In his answer on page 6 at line 2, NW
Energy Coalition witness Weiss testifies that the addition of a single kilowatt hour of load
increases Idaho Power s revenues by "about 6.5 cents, because this is how much extra
the customer pays for the kWh." Mr. Weiss goes on to note in a footnote to the above-
referenced testimony that he has "assumed that the additional kilowatt hour is priced at
the higher, marginal block rate." Please identify the source of the 6.5 per cent per kWh
hour amount cited in the above-referenced testimony and footnote.
