HomeMy WebLinkAbout20110207min.docIDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION MINUTES OF DECISION MEETING FEBRUARY 7, 2011 – 1:30 P.M. In attendance were Commissioners Jim Kempton, Marsha Smith, and Mack Redford. Commissioner Kempton called the meeting to order. The first order of business was APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING on Monday, January 31, 2011. The Commission voted unanimously to approve the minutes as written. The second order of business was approval of the CONSENT AGENDA: 2. Grace Seaman's February 2, 2011 Decision Memorandum re: ATC's Tariff Advice Letter 11-01 to Add Safety Line Service Bundle. 3. Grace Seaman's February 2, 2011 Decision Memorandum re: Direct Communications' Tariff Advice Letter 11-01 to Add Safety Line Service Bundle. 4. Grace Seaman's February 4, 2011 Decision Memorandum re: Fremont Telcom's Application for Approval of Negotiated Agreement with Allied Wireless Communications Corporation, Case No. FRE-T-11-01. 5. Weldon Stutzman's February 4, 2011 Decision Memorandum re: Application of United Water and the City of Eagle for Approval of an Interconnection Agreement with Eagle, Idaho, Case No. UWI-W-11-01. There was no discussion and the Commission voted unanimously to approve Staff’s recommendations for items 2 through 5. FULLY SUBMITTED MATTERS: 6. Deliberation re: Idaho Power's Application for Approval of a Firm Energy Sales Agreement with Hazelton A, Case No. IPC-E-10-45. [Kristine Sasser, Attorney] 7. Deliberation re: Idaho Power's Application for Approval of a Firm Energy Sales Agreement with Hidden Hollow, Case No. IPC-E-10-44. [Kristine Sasser, Attorney] 8. Deliberation re: Idaho Power's Four Applications for Approval of Power Purchase Agreements with Wind Park Developers: Deep Creek, Cottonwood, Rogerson Flats, and Salmon Creek, Case Nos. IPC-E-10-47, IPC-E-10-48, IPC-E-10-49, and IPC-E-10-50, respectively. [Kristine Sasser, Attorney] 9. Deliberation re: Valuation of Monsanto's Interruptible Products, Case No. PAC-E-10-07. [Neil Price, Attorney] Commissioner Kempton stated that items 6, 7 and 8 would be deliberated privately following the meeting. Regarding item 9, Commissioner Kempton stated it will be fully submitted once the Commission receives the parties’ post-hearing briefs, authorized during the technical hearing held on February 1, 2011, or by February 10, 2011, whichever is earlier. He said the Commission will deliberate the case shortly thereafter. He noted that due to Commission scheduling, no other opportunity exists for the Commission to include this case on a Commission Decision Meeting agenda until the end of the month.
