The Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, by and through its attorney of record
Weldon B. Stutzman, Deputy Attorney General, requests that Idaho Power Company (Company;
IPC) provide the following documents and information on or before WEDNESDAY,
NOVEMBER 30, 2005.
This Production Request is to be considered as continuing, and Idaho Power Company is
requested to provide, by way of supplementary responses, additional documents that it or any
person acting on its behalf may later obtain that will augment the documents produced.
For each item, please indicate the name of the person(s) preparing the answers, along with
the job title of such person(s) and the witness who can sponsor the answer at hearing.

Request No.1: Please provide cost detail and description by cloud seeding year (2002-
2003 2003-2004 2004-2005) for the $5.43 million in cloud seeding costs shown on line 16, page
21 of Mr. Riley s Direct Testimony. Identify capital costs and expenses. Also classify expenses as
types of expenses that the Company expects to continue to incur and those that are expected to be
non-recumng.
Request No.2: Please calculate the cloud seeding benefit cost ratio with capital costs and
non-recurring expenses removed ftom the $5.43 million total cost.
