The Commissioners asked me to investigate the power quality concerns you
expressed in your comments on their request for a rate increase. You indicated to contact
you for more information, and that is what I am doing. I sent this same request to your
mail address, but it came back so I'm not sure if you received it.
You mention recorders placed at different locations. What do you know about the
recorders? Do you know the locations? Any results? Dates? I will ask Idaho Power for
information, but anything you can provide helps me be sure I am getting the full story.
What do you know about lost/damaged equipment? Have you personally lost
anything? Is your "" your business or the community in general? Did you file a
claim? Did you get anything? What do you lmow about other losses?
What are the specific requests of developers? There are requirements in the
Company s tariff regarding developer payments to upgrade facilities, so these requests for
payment may be in accordance with the tariff. We would need specific details to check
this further.
