Idaho Power Company Monthly Load-Resource Balance Spreadsheets Assumptions Monthly Enerey (aMW) Analysis (2004-2015) Monthly average loads were updated to reflect Idaho Power s current load forecast (2003) Cogeneration energy was updated to reflect the most current forecast (2003) . PPL Montana power purchase contract energy (aMW) was added in June, July and August for heavy load hours only (2004-2009) Thermal and hydro generation levels were assumed to remain at 2002 IRP levels Danskin energy generation (79 aMW) was added to deficit months for heavy loads hours only. Run-time hours did exceed defined operational constraints 300 hours per year) Bennett Mountain energy generation (149 aMW) was added to deficit months for heavy load hours only. Run-time hours did not exceed operational constraints 567 hours per year). Plant is 'assumed to come on-line in June 2005. Once on-line, Bennett Mountain was assumed to dispatch prior to Danskin based on variable cost estimates Garnet was not considered in the analysis Monthly Peak-Hour (MW) Analysis (2004-2011) Monthly peak-hour loads were updated to reflect the most current peak load forecast (2003) Peak energy (MW) from the PPL Montana power purchase was added in June July and August 2004-2009 Danskin peak generation (86 MW) was added to all months expect April.
