Notice of Settlement Conference

Dear Parties of Record:

In an effort to continue narrowing issues in dispute and explore the possibility of settling other
issues, Commission Staff and Idaho Power plan to meet on Wednesday, August 8, 2001 at 2:30
p.m. in the Public Utilities Commission Hearing Room to engage in settlement discussions.
Pursuant to Commission Procedural Rule 272, this letter is to advise all parties of the August 8th
settlement meeting and to inform parties that they may attend the meeting.

At the settlement meeting, Commission Staff will have reviewed Idaho Power’s rebuttal
testimony and will primarily seek to determine if any areas of agreement exist in the IPC-E-01-
7/11 cases. To facilitate rebuttal testimony review by the parties prior to the August 8th meeting,
legal counsel for Idaho Power has indicated the Company will send electronic copies of their
filed rebuttal testimony on August 7th to parties of record who request it.
