Dear Ms. Hanian
ldaho Power Company ("ldaho Powe/'or"Company'') hasworked with The Senator,
!nc. d/b/a Brooke View, lnc. ('Brooke View") to ensure that the Brooke View community
is adhering to the Master-Metering Rules for Electric Utilities (the "Master-Metering
Rules," codified in IDAPA 31.26.01.101). Brooke View takes service as a single Large
Genera! Primary Service customerand has sub-metered its residentsfor usage since being
"grandfathered" by the Commission in 1980. ln recent years, Brooke View has converted
more than half of its mobile homes into patio homes, calling into question its compliance
with the Master-Metering Rules.
ldaho Power and Brooke View are working to transition all homes within the Brooke
View community to individually metered accounts directly billed by ldaho Power. ldaho
Power anticipates all necessary coordination to be completed by and all meters converted
on June 30,2020. Brooke View and ldaho Power intend to initiate the communication of
the conversion to ldaho Power service to the residents on or about June 1 ,2020. While the
Company and Brooke View collectively anticipate al! residents will establish an account with
ldaho Power prior to the meter conversion, ldaho Power will provide notice of disconnection
two calendar days prior the cutover, to any resident that has not established an account, as
required by UCRR 312.
