MINUTES OF DECISION MEETING
March 8, 2010 – 1:30 P.M.
In attendance were Commissioners Jim Kempton, Marsha Smith and Mack Redford.
Commissioner Kempton called the meeting to order. The first order of business was approval of MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING on March 3, 2010. A vote was taken to approve the minutes with one correction noted regarding item 6.
The second order of business was MATTERS IN PROGRESS:
2. Discussion re: Idaho Power Company's Application for Approval of Stipulation Regarding Prudency Determination of Energy Efficiency Rider Funds Spent During 2002-2007 -- Idaho Power's Motion to Request Reply Comment Period, Case No. IPC-E-09-09. [No Memo. Weldon Stutzman, Attorney.]
Mr. Stutzman stated that Staff supported Idaho Power’s request. Commissioner Smith made a motion to establish a reply comment deadline of Friday, March 12, 2010 in Case No. IPC-E-09-09. Commissioner Kempton suggested making the deadline one week later. Lisa Nordstrom, counsel for Idaho Power, stated the Company was prepared to file on March 12th. Commissioner Kempton said it would be a good idea to allow extra time because of the number of people who had said they would like more time to comment. Commissioner Smith amended her motion to establish a comment deadline of Friday, March 19th. A vote was taken on the motion and it carried unanimously.
There was no further business and Commissioner Kempton adjourned the meeting.
