GNR-E-11-03 IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S RESPONSE TO THE FOURTH PRODUCTION REQUEST OF THE COMMISSION STAFF TO IDAHO POWER COMPANY COMES NOW, Idaho Power Company ("Idaho Power'), and in response to the Fourth Production Request of the Commission Staff to Idaho Power Company dated February 7, 2013, herewith submits the following information: IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S RESPONSE TO THE FOURTH PRODUCTION REQUEST OF THE COMMISSION STAFF TO IDAHO POWER COMPANY -1 REQUEST NO. 22: Please provide the following information for each Idaho Power QF contract for facilities located in Idaho: a.Project name; b.On-line date; C. Nameplate capacity; d.Type of generation technology (e.g., hydro, biomass, cogeneration, etc.); e.Monthly generation amounts for the entire period of record; f.Hourly generation amounts for the months of January, February, June, July and December beginning in 2000 through the present (for those projects where hourly data is reported). Please provide the data electronically only, in an executable Excel format. RESPONSE TO REQUEST NO. 22: Attachments responsive to this Request are provided on the confidential CD. The confidential CD will be provided to those parties that have signed the Protective Agreement in this proceeding. a-d. This report was created from the Idaho Power CSPP accounting database used to calculate monthly payments to the individual projects based on the individual terms and conditions contained within each contract. f.Please see confidential Attachments 3-40 provided on the confidential CD for hourly generation. Attachment 3, Hourly Data Sources, contains a summary list of the projects that have hourly data available and the source of that hourly data. There are two potential sources of hourly data available for the various PURPA projects. The potential sources are as follows: 1. MV90 data is generation information provided hourly by the actual meter located at each project measured in kilowatts ("kW") IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S RESPONSE TO THE FOURTH PRODUCTION REQUEST OF THE COMMISSION STAFF TO IDAHO POWER COMPANY -2 2. P1 data is hourly generation information that is accessed through the Idaho Power SCADA system measured in megawatts ("MW") for each project. The MV90 data is measured per kW, whereas the P1 data is measured per MW. Therefore, the more accurate MV90 data was used in preparing this information when it was available. The MV90 and P1 designation are listed for each project. Attachments 4-39, Hourly Data, contain the MV90 hourly kW data for each project for the designated month and year. Attachment 40, Confidential P1 Data, contains the P1 hourly MW data for each project for the designated month and year for which MV90 data was not available. The sum of the individual hourly generation information for each project may not exactly match the cumulative month generation information provided in the confidential Excel file Monthly Generation due to rounding, contractual payment terms and conditions, station usage, losses, and other contractual provisions that may create minor differences between the actual hourly generation and the project's reported monthly generation.
