GNR-E-11-03 IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S RESPONSE TO THE FIRST PRODUCTION REQUEST OF THE COMMISSION STAFF TO IDAHO POWER COMPANY COMES NOW, Idaho Power Company ("Idaho Power"), and in response to the First Production Request of the Commission Staff to Idaho Power Company dated March 8, 2012, herewith submits the following information: IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S RESPONSE TO THE FIRST PRODUCTION REQUEST OF THE COMMISSION STAFF TO IDAHO POWER COMPANY-i REQUEST NO. 1: Please provide a copy of the AURORA input and output files used to derive the highest displaceable incremental cost in each hour of a proposed QF contract term, which in turn, is used as the basis for computing the energy component of proposed avoided cost rates under the IRP methodology proposed by Idaho Power. RESPONSE TO REQUEST NO. 1: Please see the following files provided on the DVD: 1.2011 IRP Base Database North_American_DB_2010-01.xdb. This is AURORA's North American database that was used in the project file. 2.Alternative IRP Methodology 2011 IRP Base Case_Ver 10- 0_Revised Gas & Load no carbon.apz. This is the AURORA project file used to produce the production run for the hourly incremental cost analysis. 3.Alternative IRP Methodology 2011 IRP no carbon no gas & load_2013-2030.xdb. This is the output file from the AURORA project file that was used in the hourly incremental cost analysis. The response to this Request was prepared by M.
