HomeMy WebLinkAbout20091130min.docIDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION MINUTES OF DECISION MEETING November 30, 2009 – 1:30 P.M. In attendance were Commissioners Jim Kempton, Marsha Smith and Mack Redford. Commissioner Kempton called the meeting to order. The first order of business was approval of MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING on November 23, 2009. A vote was taken to approve the minutes as written. The second order of business was approval of the CONSENT AGENDA: 2. Keith Hessing's November 27, 2009 Decision Memorandum re: Idaho Power Tariff Advice 09-11 - Approval of Hoku Special Contract Rates (Schedule 32) and Revisions to the Energy Efficiency Rider (Schedule 91). The Commission voted unanimously to approve the proposed revisions to Idaho Power’s tariff. 3. Approval of Conforming Tariffs re: In the Matter of Idaho Power Company's Application for Authority to Modify Its Rule H Line Extension Tariff Related to New Service Attachments and Distribution Line Installations, Case No. IPC-E-08-22. [No Memo. Kristine Sasser, Attorney.] Mr. Howell explained that the Commission was in the process of issuing an order in this case that would be ready later in the afternoon, and once the Company had a copy of the order, it would immediately file conforming tariffs. He said Staff would then review the tariffs and determine if they were in conformance with the Appendix to the order. Commissioner Smith moved that the Commission conditionally approve the tariffs as long as Staff determines they are in compliance with the order. A vote was taken on the motion and it carried unanimously. 4. Kristine Sasser's November 25, 2009 Decision Memorandum re: In the Matter of Intermountain Gas Company's Application for Authority to Establish Interruptible Snowmelt Tariffs, Case No. INT-G-09-03. The Commission voted unanimously to process the case by Modified Procedure without requiring a hearing, establish a December 23, 2009 comment deadline, and suspend the Company’s proposed effective date of December 15, 2009. 5. Neil Price's November 24, 2009 Decision Memorandum re: Application of Time Warner Cable Information Services (Idaho), LLC for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity, Case No. TIM-T-08-01. The Commission voted unanimously to process the application by Modified Procedure with a 21-day comment period. There was no further business and Commissioner Kempton adjourned the meeting.
