MINUTES OF DECISION MEETING
January 5, 2009 – 1:30 P.M.
In attendance were Commissioners Mack Redford and Jim Kempton. Commissioner Marsha Smith was absent and excused.
The first order of business was approval of the CONSENT AGENDA, item 1. There was no discussion and item 1 was approved by vote.
There was no Decision Memo regarding item 2. Don Howell explained that the Commission’s order in the Atlanta Power rate case required the company to file conforming tariffs with an effective date of January 1st, but the tariffs were not received until late on January 2nd. He said Staff had reviewed the tariffs and recommended they be approved retroactively to January 1, 2009. A vote was taken to approve the tariffs.
Commissioner Redford stated that item 3 had been removed from the agenda and items 4 and 5 would be deliberated privately. He then adjourned the meeting.
