MINUTES OF DECISION MEETING
September 8, 2008 – 1:30 P.M.
In attendance were Commissioners Mack Redford, Marsha Smith and Jim Kempton.
Commissioner Redford called the meeting to order. The first order of business was approval of MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING on September 2, 2008. The minutes were approved by vote.
The next order of business was MATTERS IN PROGRESS:
2. Beverly Barker’s September 4, 2008 Decision Memorandum re: Energy Affordability Workshops.
Ms. Barker reviewed her Decision Memo. There was no discussion. Commissioner Smith made a motion to initiate a formal generic case and schedule workshops for the purpose of examining issues surrounding energy affordability and customers’ ability to pay energy bills. A vote was taken on the motion and it carried unanimously.
The only remaining items on the agenda were under the category of FULLY SUBMITTED MATTERS and Commissioner Redford stated they would be deliberated privately. He then adjourned the meeting.
