IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION

MINUTES OF DECISION MEETING

July 15, 2008 – 1:30 P.M.

In attendance were Commissioners Mack Redford, Marsha Smith and Jim Kempton.

Commissioner Redford called the meeting to order. The first order of business was approval of MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING on July 7, 2008. The minutes were approved by vote.

The second order of business was approval of the CONSENT AGENDA, items 2 - 3.
There was no discussion. Commissioner Smith made a motion to approve the Consent Agenda. A vote was taken on the motion and it passed unanimously.

The next order of business was MATTERS IN PROGRESS:

4. Neil Price’s July 3, 2008 Decision Memorandum re: Idaho Power’s General Rate Case Application, Case No. IPC-E-08-10.

Mr. Price reviewed his Decision Memo. He added that the Idaho Irrigation Pumpers Association, represented by Eric Olsen, had also petitioned to intervene in this case. Commissioner Smith made a motion to issue a notice of the Company’s Application, set an intervention deadline, suspend the proposed effective date for a period of 30 days plus 5 months, and approve both the ICIP’s and the Idaho Irrigation Pumpers Association’s Petitions to Intervene. A vote was taken on the motion and it carried unanimously.

The only other agenda items were under the category of FULLY SUBMITTED MATTERS and Commissioner Redford stated they would be deliberated privately. He then adjourned the meeting.
