Intermountain Gas Company("Intermountain" or"Company"), submits the following
comments in reply to the comments filed by the Idaho Public Utilities Commission Staff
("Staff').
Reply Comments
The Company appreciates Staff s review of the Company's proposed Purchased Gas Cost
Adjustment("PGA") filing. The Company generally acknowledges and supports Staffs
comments.
The Company would like to provide additional comments regarding Staff s
recommendation that the Company and Staff work together to "evaluate its annual PGA filing
timeline and identify options that provide sufficient time for Staff to complete its review." Staff
Comments at 11, 5.

First, the Company is willing to provide invoice samples in advance of an audit and
apologizes for any confusion it may have caused when discussing this with Staff during their on-
site audit.
Second, while the Company is receptive to discussing other options to provide sufficient
time for Staff to complete its review, it would like to make clear that the Company has been
following the Commission's order that the Company file "future PGA applications on or about
August 15 so that rates may go into effect on October L" Case No. INT-G-04-02, Order No.
29540 at 10. The Company believes that this filing timeline should be maintained because it
allows the Company to use the latest available data to help reduce over or under collection, and it
sends a timely price signal to enhance the customers ability to make informed and appropriate
energy use decisions in advance of the heating season.
