NEWS RELEASE: Valley County Water Utility Seeks Approval to Increase Rates
BOISE (Sept. 15, 2026) — Meadows Water, LLC has filed an application with the Idaho Public Utilities
Commission seeking approval to increase its rates by 10.11 percent. The utility serves 215 customers in the
Meadows at the West Mountain subdivision.
If the application is approved by the Commission as filed,residential customers would pay a flat monthly rate of
$62.76, up from $57.00. A flat monthly rate that a homeowner's association is charged to provide water to
common areas would increase to $550.53 for the months of May through September, up from $500.00
Meadows Water said the rate increases are needed to cover operations, maintenance, and repair expenses from
two separate system failures.
