SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF DIEZ MOBILE US,INC'S NOTICE OF INTENT TO
PROVIDE CMRS/WIRELESS SERVICE IN IDAHO; CASE NO. DMU-T-
26-01.
On April 6, 2026, Diez Mobile US, Inc. ("Company) submitted a Notice of Intent
("Notice") with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") to operate as an "Other
Telecommunications Service Provider"within the State of Idaho.
STAFF ANALYSIS
Commission Staff("Staff') reviewed the Company's Notice. In its Notice, the Company
notified the Commission that it intended to operate as an "Other Telecommunications Service
Provider" in the State of Idaho. Notice at 1. The Company indicated that it offers Commercial
Mobile Radio Service ("CMRS") to Idaho residents. Id. CMRS provides a link between mobile
wireless users to standard landline telephones and provides two-way voice communication.
Staff notes that the Company is not requesting a Certificate of Public Convenience and
Necessity or an Eligible Telecommunication Carrier status in this Notice.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission acknowledge the Notice submitted by the
Company.
